Our Story

About Connecticut Crease

Founded in 2002, we've spent over two decades building real relationships with goalies and helping athletes become the best versions of themselves.

Our History

Built on Two Decades of Goalie Training

Connecticut Crease was originally founded in 2002 by Dan Stewart. In 2012 Craig Height purchased the business and relocated it to the current facility, where it has grown into one of Connecticut's most respected goalie training programs.

Over the years, we've worked with hundreds of goalies across all ages and skill levels — from beginners stepping onto the ice for the first time to competitive athletes playing at the highest levels of youth and collegiate hockey.

What hasn't changed is our philosophy: every goalie is different, and every lesson should reflect that. We don't work from a manual. We watch, we listen, and we coach to what the athlete in front of us actually needs.

Our Mission

Helping Every Goalie Become Their Best

"We believe every goalie deserves coaching that's built around them — not a textbook. We watch, we listen, and we coach to what each athlete actually needs."

Personalized Coaching

No two athletes are the same. Every session is tailored to the individual — their strengths, their goals, their needs.

Real Relationships

Our coaches build genuine connections with every athlete. That relationship is what drives long-term development.

Lasting Results

Many clients train with us for 3–10 years. That's not an accident — it's the result of coaching that actually works.

Meet the Coaches

Our coaches don't just teach technique — they invest in every athlete's journey as a goalie and as a person.
